These Terms of Service govern the use of services provided by Prestige Horizon Travel. By making a booking, payment, enquiry, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
1. Definitions
- "Agency" refers to Prestige Horizon Travel.
- "Client" refers to any person making a booking, enquiry, or payment through Prestige Horizon Travel.
- "Supplier" refers to any third-party service provider, including hotels, lodges, airlines, transport providers, tour operators, and activity providers.
2. Booking Confirmation
A booking is only confirmed once:
- The required deposit or full payment has been received.
- Availability has been confirmed by the relevant supplier.
- A booking confirmation has been issued by Prestige Horizon Travel.
The Agency reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion.
3. Pricing and Payments
- All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated.
- Prices are subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed.
- Full payment must be made by the due date communicated to the client.
- Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking.
4. Deposits
- Deposits are required to secure bookings.
- All deposits are strictly non-refundable.
- Payment of a deposit constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Service and the Agency's Refund and Cancellation Policy.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
- Refunds, where applicable, are subject to the policies and approval of the relevant supplier.
- Prestige Horizon Travel cannot guarantee refunds where suppliers impose cancellation penalties or refuse refunds.
- Any approved refund may be subject to administrative charges.
6. Travel Documents
Clients are responsible for ensuring they possess:
- Valid passports.
- Required visas.
- Identification documents.
- Vaccination certificates or other travel documentation required by authorities.
Prestige Horizon Travel shall not be liable for losses resulting from incomplete, invalid, or expired travel documents.
7. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to:
- Provide accurate information when making bookings.
- Comply with all supplier rules and regulations.
- Conduct themselves respectfully during travel.
- Pay all applicable fees and charges associated with their booking.
Any costs arising from a client's actions shall be the sole responsibility of the client.
8. Supplier Responsibility
Prestige Horizon Travel acts as an intermediary between clients and suppliers.
The Agency is not responsible for:
- Supplier insolvency.
- Service interruptions.
- Overbookings.
- Schedule changes.
- Service quality issues.
- Loss, injury, damage, delay, or inconvenience caused by suppliers.
All services are provided subject to the supplier's own terms and conditions.
9. Changes to Itineraries
Suppliers may occasionally alter travel arrangements, accommodation, activities, or transportation due to operational requirements.
Prestige Horizon Travel will make reasonable efforts to notify clients of any changes but cannot guarantee that all components of a trip will remain unchanged.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prestige Horizon Travel shall not be liable for:
- Personal injury.
- Illness.
- Death.
- Property damage.
- Theft or loss of belongings.
- Delays or missed connections.
- Additional expenses incurred during travel.
Clients travel at their own risk.
11. Force Majeure
Prestige Horizon Travel shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including:
- Natural disasters.
- Weather conditions.
- Pandemics.
- Government actions.
- Strikes.
- Civil unrest.
- Transportation disruptions.
12. Marketing Materials
Photographs, descriptions, and promotional materials are intended for illustrative purposes only. Actual services, facilities, and experiences may vary.
13. Privacy
Personal information collected by Prestige Horizon Travel will be used solely for booking, communication, and service delivery purposes and will not be sold to third parties.
14. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
15. Acceptance of Terms
By making a booking, payment, or using the services of Prestige Horizon Travel, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
